Civic duty over!

She did her 3 days and they let her go. If you look bored enough... they wont want you on the jury.

Jury Duty

Heidi left early today for jury duty. She isn't on a jury yet. If she isn't picked tomorrow, she goes back to her nomal job. I wouldn't be a good juror... they wont let you play fetch in the courthouse.

We watched 'That was then.. this is now' tonight. It got me thinking of other movies filmed in MN. I hunted the internet. It claims over 400 movies have been partially made there, but no real list. Where is the list? Anyone? Here are the one we found.

Chad is home!

Heidi is sad though... I don't think it's because Chad is home. I think it is because Manning made it to the super bowl. Isn't he on TV enough? Its almost as bad as the cave man commercials. There is a new one out now..... Letter writing campain? GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heidi left again. I think she will be back, but when? Where are you? You need to teach Heidi how to throw, she throws like a girl. Please come home soon.

More snow....

We got about 1 1/2 inches overnight. The forcast is for rain later today and then a low of 30 tonight. This might be the largest skating rink ever!

We are winning!!!!!!

I think we have more snow than any of my regular readers. (Maybe not Angie...) We got more last night. It should stick for a few days, our highs are low 30's. I love the snow, so here I am playing this morning!

Food Find for Peder

I saw these peanut butter cups at the store and had to try them in your cookies. They were very good! My co-workers loved them!

First Week..doing well!

First week of the new year and so far so good. One of my goal was to cook more. Not that we eat out much, but cook a wider variety of foods. To help with this Chad and I are taking a 4 week cooking class. We had the first class last night. It was knife skills. It was fun! We learned how to cut veggies and meat and which knife to use. We ended the night making a delicious stir fry. The classes are at a Whole Foods market, so the grocery shopping is great after class. I find it strange to get excited at a grocery store, but whole foods is amazing. You feel good about every item you put in your cart.
Another goal is to keep up the exercise. I am going to walk around America! Not just me.. 8 of my co-workers and I are going to log all our mile for the year and try to make it virtually from Seattle-San Diego-Jacksonville-Boston-Seattle. It is a total of 7815 miles. We will need to each average about 19 miles a week. I will keep you posted on our progress.
