See... it's better...

Before
Today
The two piles of dirt showed up today. Don't know what they are for. It does look better now though. Not great, but an improvement. Here it was before too.

I don't know how to make the video show on my blog... so you get to copy, paste and laugh real hard.

Our house..

How are we? Ok. My people have been sick. They have fun winter colds. I still drag them outside!
Our bad neighbors left food outside a few weeks back. I thought it was for me, so I ate it. Twice. I guess it wasn't for me, cus I go really sick both times. Chad called someone and after two weeks the yard looks better than it has in 3 years. No great, but such an improvement! I will try to get some pictures posted.

Heidi signed up to be part the the crew for the 3-day walk. She wont walk, but work just as hard helping with something. She doesn't have to raise any money, but since it is such a good cause.... There is a link now on the right side of my page you can look at and donate if you need a cause to support.

It has been cold for us here. I love it. Highs on the 30's. We might get snow this weekend!

One of Heidi's 2008 goals was the 12 new recipes. She made #1 last night. It was a knock off of Chili's enchillada soup. It wasn't the same, but good! The only problem is it made about 10 cups of soup. I guess that wasn't the only problem..She wouldn't give me any.

21 days till my Birthday!!!!

It IS greener on the other side...

My people are always looking for ways to be greener. Their reasons are simple. Less chemicals and less in the landfill. Here are some of their recent tips and finds.
-- reusable grocery bags ALL THE TIME
-- buying products with less packaging
-- cleaning products with less chemicals (Clorox is making them now too!)
-- shower liner made out of EVA instead of vinyl
-- signed up for daily tips on www.idealbite.com ( it if for people who want to be greener, but not granola)
-- www.greendimes.com reduces junk mail!!!!

I like the cleaning products, I don't get as high when they clean! They are eating more natural too. I like sampling that.

Let's go Seahawks!!!!!

I will be guarding the house while my people go to the game today. When will the public learn dogs like football games too. I would just help them make it louder in there. ( Qwest field is loud.. but one of redskins players claims it is pumped in.. we will show them.)

New Year ( a few days late)

Happy New Year everyone! We had a good evening. Some people came over and played games. Than I guarded the house while they went downtown to the fireworks. I am not a big fan of fireworks, plus there was technical difficulties with this years show so it wasn't as good as past years.
We all have set some goals for 2008.
Brian-- more fetch, not gain weight, learn a new trick (like open the new fridge)
Heidi-- learn sign language, more exercise (I am starting a yoga class next week)
make at least 12 new recipes
Chad-- drop time on stair climb and half marathon, eat more fruit and veggies,
improve pizza skills
~Heidi wants to write now. Hope you all had a good year and I wish you an even better 2008!
I everyone. I too hope you had a good New Year. I was disappointed in the fireworks, especially since one of the people with us is from Germany and this was her first time in the States for New Years. Nothing I could do about it though.
My work group logged 4000 miles for 2007, we made it to Florida. I had a year total of 602 miles.
We had one casualty on the drive back here... the 4 wheel drive broke. Nothing like shelling out big money right off the year. It wouldn't have been so bad, but we also bought a new refrigerator! I am excited for it. I'll post pictures of it next week.
I am looking forward to some things in 2008. February- Chad and I will celebrate 10 years together. August- cruise to Alaska! (there is still time to join us) September- for the first time in 8 years I will get to pick my days off at work, not just placed there because of my seniority. The sad part of this is I will be one of 12 of us with more than 2 years experience.
Happy 2008!!!!
