Not fair!!

My people left me for a week. They did leave a nice guy to watch me. He took me running, which was nice. My people need to run more. They left me to go to see family. I would have loved to join them. It sounds like they had so much fun. Heidi is home with me now. She tells me I get to go with them in December. Fun! I like to play in the snow. While they were gone they went to the zoo, a baseball game, Birthday party and playing in the yard. Heidi read a book this week that was really interesting. It was 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' by Garth Stein. It is written from the point of view of a dog. He talks about his life and the people he loves. It was so well written. Heidi cried a few times while reading it. The dog in the book thinks he is close to human. I feel the same way! Here are a few pictures from Heidi's vacation. Crazy!

It has been a crazy week. My people have been running like crazy. Laundry, work, errands. I think they might have something planned, but I don't know what it is.. They had a guy come over the other day and they showed him all over the house and told him a bunch of stuff about me. I wonder if we are getting a roommate. Marshall is in to hitting right now. It has not been fun. We have all been on the receiving end. I am liking him better.. especially when he is eating. I will let him play fetch with me every now and then. Heidi's plants are doing well. The strawberries have been ready just a few at a time. Most of them have been picked and eaten with in minutes. Heidi is hoping a bunch will be ready at once to make something with them. The tomatoes are just starting to flower. The sunflowers are getting tall, but no flowers yet. They are predicting hot weather next week, that should help all of them.
