What have we been up to..

We have been well, but busy! The window seat in Marshall's room is primed and ready to be painted. Christmas shopping is almost done! Heidi has been looking for an Advent calendar. She found a cool one with 24 stockings! She hung it in a cute place, but not real usable this year! Tonight everyone (but me) took some toys and in exchange got to meet and get autographs from 4 Seahawks!!! Heidi has the jersey of one of them and got it signed!!!

Snow part 2

We got to go out and play again today!!! I played fetch and my people went sledding! At the end of the video Marshall says Woo-hoo! He had fun sledding.

Snow and Stats

It has been snowing here on and off for 30 hours. We don't get much snow here. There are not many plows, too many hills and way to many people who do not know how to drive in it. We usually try to just stay home. This is a very early storm for us. I think it is going to be a long winter.. We had fun playing out in the snow today. We only had about 2 inches this afternoon. We have about 6 now and it is still coming down. Bad news.. a 747 slid off the end of the runway shutting down an already backed up airport. ( no one was hurt) The interstate through downtown was shut down and backed up for over 6 hours! Hopefully I will get out and play again tomorrow!
Marshall had his 2 year check up last week. He is doing well. Very healthy. He is 34 inches tall and 27 lbs. He is talking so much and had no fear of anything.

Marshall's party!!

I guess Marshall's party was a huge hit! I did not get to go. My people had it at an indoor bounce house place. It was full of inflatable slides, obstacle course, batting practice,and places just to jump. There were 27 people there. Adults got to play too! EVERYONE had fun! After playing they had pizza, cake and opened presents. Marshall would not eat any of the cake!! We might give him another piece today.

Today was Marshall's Birthday! We kept it fairly low key. He has a big party tomorrow! Tonight he had one of his favorites for dinner and opened a few presents. Heidi made his cakes for the party tomorrow.

Potty Training Advice

Ok.. my people want to start to inform Marshall on potty training. He is not ready to really start, but they want to get him interested in it. Any good books for him? Ideas, articles? Did you use a chair or regular toilet with the added seat?

He has a good cold right now. He is in great spirits, but has a runny nose and cough. My people are showing signs of it too. We are going to go get some fresh air, hopefully that will help!

Gift ideas

One of the items on Marshall's Amazon wish list is Toy Story 3.. just sayin'.

Happy Halloween

We went trick-or-treating for a little bit tonight. Heidi and Marshall went to a fall harvest party with some friends. We all had a good night. We didn't get ANY kids to the house, so we have a ton of candy!

Pick your battles..

Marshall loves his orange sweatshirt.. He throws a fit when my people take it off him. We are going on day three! Heidi bought Marshall a clock for his room as a birthday gift. She put it up yesterday.
Heidi is doing ok.. She has an aggravated rotator cuff. She starts physical therapy next week. Until then she is taking some otc drugs and cant lift her right arm higher than shoulder level. She has trouble sleeping. (Marshall being up for 3 hours last night didn't help.) It rained hard for the past 5 days. The sun is out, so we are going for a walk!

chips and kick

Marshall loves pringles and will do almost anything to get to them... He also is enjoying his swim lessons! It has gotten cooler here. I like it! I also love playing in the leaves. "They" say we are going to have a wetter and cooler winter than normal this year. I am hoping for snow! If we don't.. I know we will get to play in the snow at Christmas!
