They needed a little culture!

Friday night a work we discovered some of the people we Midwesterners work with had never HEARD of Tatertot hotdish. Huh? So for lunch today we made a big ol' pan of it. I think my favorite part is the cheesy tots. YUMMM

One done...

So, what do you think? The pictures with the mirrors make the color look blue. If you look at the other picture you can see it is really dark grey. I am still deciding on if I am going to keep the purple or not. I am thinking maybe red. Off to finish the other bathroom!

Testing out my sea legs

Before I booked for the cruise I thought I should take a boat ride. That's not really true... I do fine on boats, it was just a nice way to start this post! I went out on a friends sail boat last night. We did a race called the Duck Dodge. It is ALL sail boats, not motors allowed! Here are the rules to give you an idea.

Rules
Rule 1: No hitting one-another (With or without boats)

Rule 2: Rules of the road apply

Rule 3: No hitting one-another

Rule 4: Take all marks to PORT

Rule 5: No hitting one-another

Rule 6: Bribing the committee is against the rules (while anybody is looking)

Rule 7: No hitting one-another

Rule 8: There is no rule number 8

Rule 9: No hitting one-another

Rule 10: Follow all the rules

Rule 11: No hitting one-another

Rule 12: Never make a duck change its course (Dodge theDuck) There are no customs unless you go really way off course.

It was fun! There were a few near misses. (I think this phrase is odd, we use it in my job to.. wouldn't a near miss be a hit? ) I have a big apprecaition for the sail boat, but I'll stick with unnatural power!

Oh, and we booked for the Alaska Cruise!!! I don't have the room number yet for those of you keeping track.

Where is she?

When you think of me this summer this is most likely where I am. At least I have a good view.

bachelor weekend

I wanted to post a message today since I am sooooo happy to have Heidi back home. She went to see family this weekend and left us boys here to fend for ourselves. We went for a family walk and told us all about the trip. It sounds like she had fun. I feel left out on all the walks she took.

She took in redeye to start the trip. She stayed the with her brother and sis-in-law the first day. Had lunch with mom and took the first walk without me.

Saturday Heidi and her brother went to see family in a town I have never been too. I want to.. there was another walk and a big yard I could have played in. She had a great time catching up with her Aunt and cousin.

Sunday was a baby shower. I don't know what this is, but I don't like showers. I guess it was really fun and you don't get wet. (she will put up some pictures)

Monday she spent with grandma. I like grandma. Monday night she met up with a friend and yet again walked.

I am glad she had such a great weekend, but I am so glad to have her back. I have cuddle time to catch up on!

Afternoon at the park

Memorial Day afternoon us "kids" went to the park. We had a great time. The slide was the biggest attraction. The only one of the seven of us that did not go down the slide was the 5 day old. It is fun to be a kid. The last picture is Janelle, she skipped the slide this time.

vacation plans

I will plan to go here in a few years. http://www.eonline.com/news/article/index.jsp?uuid=9df8a9c0-314e-45ed-9198-d1d1c9e90c06

I will also see the newest movie the night it comes out. I will be at B&N at midnight the night the book comes out. I am sad this is the last book.
