The Final Harry Potter Book

I finished it this morning. I will not spoil any of the plot for any of you. This book was bitter sweet for me. I was so excited to read it, but I don't want the books to be over. I was very happy with this book. Let me know when I can talk about the plot!

I know Heidi had fun yesterday, but looking back I should have helped plan more stuff that I could do. Heidi started her birthday by working an overnight shift followed by a long nap. I spent some time snuggling with her. We all went for a walk to kick off the afternoon. I had to guard the house while they went to lunch. At the end of the meal the waitress brought 6 fortune cookies out on a plate. Heidi started opening them and found all the fortunes were personalized. One of them told her to go to B&N at exactly 5:50pm, ask for a book at customer service and look inside. Before that she had to play fetch with me. Off to B&N, get the book to find the next clue. She was told to go to a nearby bowling alley and look under a chair at lane 1. While she is crawling around the floor a bunch of friends are walking over. Cake, balloons, gifts! We did one more round of fetch and watched a movie. It was a good day. Heidi says 30 is fine. I will know in a couple of years.

If you are confused by the title check out Peder's blog. I got a call from a coworker last week to go flying. If you are wondering I personally did not fly. I haven't flown in just about 10 years. It was fun. We flew over my house and then headed to a group of Islands NW of Seattle. It was really fun. I included one shot of Mt Rainier. This wasn't from our flight, but really cool and worth posting. For those of you have never been here do you need more convincing?

I have a few touch ups left to do with this bathroom, but so far so good. I think I will do a wood piece to separate the blue and white. I need a new shower curtain rod and maybe a different shade of blue towels. I am very happy with the color though!!

Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart

Some nation wide 7-11 are changing their names for a few weeks. This one is in Seattle. I think I will have to make a stop. They are selling Buzz cola and squishees.
