Getting ready

These may not be in chronological order... this is how we have been getting ready for Christmas.

Outside snowman.  His name is Henry.
Part of the advent, holiday pancakes.
 Advent project, gingerbread houses.
Advent toy Marshall put together while I made the pie.
Fort Marshall built while I watched football.
Seems like a good place to sit.
 Thanksgiving dress.
Marshall wanted to sit in this tree.
 Our chirstmas cards.
Snow babies from my mother in law.
 Advent calendar
 Decorations above the door.
 Top of the stairs

It is strange to write on here not from Brian's perspective.  We have had a busy holiday season so far.  I can't believe we are just a week away!  Marshall is so excited!

I can not find the words for a title

It is with tremendous sadness that I tell you the author of this blog has passed away.  There is so much I want to say about him.  My heart is just too heavy right now. I promise him I will continue this blog.  I will honor him with a post very soon.  He always hid his pain.  This time it was too late for us to help him.  We found out Thursday he had cancer and had to say goodbye Friday.

Annual photos

Every year the kids get their pictures professionally taken. I got to go once.  I hope to go again next year.  My people know it was going to be tough enough this year with Corinne.  It was. She did not get it and did not cooperate!  Here are a few of the pictures.

Birthday boy

Marshall turned 7!!  He had a fun dance party birthday party.  He also got his bedroom decorated.  Lego theme.
He was so excited on his actually birthday!

 Treats at his party.
 Playing just dance.
The loft was turned into a dance party room.  There was no great way to take a picture of this.  It was cool.  Lights, glow stick!
 Blowing out the candle!
 Panoramic of his room.

Ninja and puppy

Halloween was fun, but wet.  We took the kids out in out neighbor hood.  My people thought we were going out in between storms.  They were wrong.  Kids still got a bunch of candy!  I got a long walk.  It was good.
 The kids' pumpkins.
Post trick or treating.  She had her first piece of candy.
Heidi's mom made this jack o lantern many years ago.
Trying to get these two to go to bed.

The only picture of them both in costume.  Corinne did not like hers at all!

October

It has been a busy couple months.  I have been sick a couple times.  My people have had a lot going on.  I'll try to catch you up on a few things.
Heidi's work went pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Marshall is up to 4 teeth lost!
I like Corinne!  She gives me treats.

Our grocery store had these huge pumpkins!  No, we didn't buy one.

 She loves her pacifier!
 Seahawks Green Bay game!
 T-shirt from Hans' ship!
 Our new chair!
 Corinne loves these puppets!

First day of First grade!

He was so excited to go to school today. I like that my morning walks are back.
He said he wished there was sound so you could hear how excited he was!
