Yesterday Marshall and Heidi were at Target.  Marshall was trying to convince Heidi to buy cookies. The comment that got the cookies in the cart was.  "Grandma D likes cookies."   When they got home he started negotiating on how many he gets to eat.

Heidi was gone for a few days this week. I missed her. Plus I had to spend too much time with Marshall.  Heidi was in Washington DC.  She had a bunch of work stuff to do, but also went for some walks and runs. I wish I could have joined her.  Although I don't think I would have liked the heat or the airplane ride. 

This is what he does...

Marshall would play on this thing all day if my people would let him. He loves watching videos of trains.

So, you buy these awesome online coupons for fun stuff and than they sit in your email until to get the reminder to use them before they expire.  So you saw the zoo. The same weekend we went to Smith Tower in downtown Seattle.  For many years it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi.  It was really neat.  Our pictures are from the 35th floor.  The upper few floors are a private home. After you look at my pictures you should really click on the link and check out the official stuff.
