Tuesday!

I am so excited for tomorrow!!! My people bought a new house. They have kept quiet incase they didn't get it. They got the call today that it is ours! They sign the paperwork and get the keys tomorrow. It is amazing! It is on the sound in Vashon Island. (Just across the water from us now.) It has an amazing view of Mt Rainier. We have a dock into the sound with a small beach. I am so excited! They will post some pictures tomorrow. They need to do a few things on the Vashon place and than put this house up for sale. I can swim everyday!!!!!

March 29 8:00 pm

From 8pm to 9pm, reguardless of time zone, it is Earth Hour. People are asked to shut off lights and as many electronics as they can. This is the second year of this many U.S. cities are doing this as well as around the world. Will you do your part? Chad and I will at home. Heidi is working and not sure if she can turn off the airport lights. ("That just what they'll be expecting")

It snowed here last night. Not much, but I got to play in it for a little bit. Very very odd to get snow here in the low lands in March. Fun! Now it is slick and chilly. It will all be gone in a few hours.

Bored...

So, Heidi jury trial was a domestic violence. The claim was this couple had been together for 5 years. They had a few violent times in their relationship. He spent time in jail in 2005 for one incident. The victim claims they were together the entire 5 years. The defendant said he hadn't seen her since the jail time in 2005. The state could not prove they had any contact since 2005. Not one witness, phone log, nothing. I would have found not guilty on all counts since there was NO proof of contact. I was happy to hear the jury found the same.
I have been bored this week. My people don't feel like walking in the rain. They've been doing it for 4 years, what is differnt this week. They just want to clean out more stuff. I have found a few toy I haven't seen in a while. I guess last night was good. The pizza guy showed up and I got some crust!
I am going to look as sad as possible to try to get a walk. Wish me luck!

Happy Easter

I heard there would be bunnies today. I haven't seen one yet. Eggs too. I love eggs. None. This could be the greatest dog holiday... Maybe my people will get me an egg or bunny while they are out tonight. I have to guard the house. I hate guarding the house. They are going to see Collective Soul in concert. Maybe I'll get into the jelly beans while they are gone.

All that for what!

So the trial ended today. Before we began deliberations the judge had to pick the alternate. He put all our numbers in a bin and picked one. It was me. I got sent home. I still can't talk about the case. They will call me when I can. Crazy!
Well, Brain and I are going to watch some tv on the couch together and maybe take a nap!

Quick Update!

We have had a busy week. My vet visit was fine, nothing wrong with me. One quick shot and we were out of there.
Chad did the stair climb today. He didn't do the timed side, but survived the 69 floors. I really wanted to do it with him.
Heidi starts jury duty tomorrow. She is anxious to get some reading done! (she is secretly hoping not to get on a jury..)
We are doing massive spring cleaning. Heidi is donating 2 huge bags of clothes. The basement as stored some things we inherited with the house.. basement is next.

I got to go swimming!!!

I finally got to go swimming! It was great! It has been a good week. Nice weather, fun with my family! Someone asked me what out house looks like. Here it is. There is also a picture of the penguin that guards the front door. I think the penguin needs a name, any ideas? I am off to my annual check up. I love my vet, but she needs to find a better way to take my temperature!

It has been a good week! I have enjoyed the nice weather. Heidi and I walked 18 miles this week! She has decided to WALK in the 3 day! Yeah.
I decided to copy off Rachel's blog her live feed so I can see who is checking in on me. I am excited! I hope I have more than 4 readers.
I haven't been swimming in months. I need to get my people to take me to the lake. Why didn't they buy a house on a lake? Even a river. They have had this house 4 years this weekend! Heidi also hasn't eaten french fries in 2 years. I haven't in about a week!
Time for bed, I had a busy day.
