I just took some time to look at the fireworks display on New Year's eve at the Space Needle in Seattle. Wow! They are incredible! No wonder you like to stay in town for that event. I'm sorry you were feeling too poorly to go downtown to see them "live" this year.
Doesn't Tom Hanks go outside on New Year's eve to watch them in "Sleepless in Seattle"?
Pretty cool!
Usually we can see some of the fireworks downtown from our street, but this year it was so foggy, all we could do was listen.
