I know we haven't had it as bad as many of the rest of you... because we are not supposed to. That is one of the reasons we live here. It is snowing this morning. It is a wet snow, nothing is sticking, but we have had a long enough winter. The passes are getting 2 FEET of snow today. I guess it is good for the economy. Well the ski lifts and the power companies!
Marshall had his 4 month check up yesterday. He is very healthy! He did not have a calm reaction to his shots last night. There was some screaming. He had his first Tylenol ever yesterday. I know they want babies to take the medicine, but do they really have to put high fructose corn syrup in it? Here are his stats.
head 16 1/2
weight 16 lbs 10 oz 80%
height 26 3/4 in 95%
We are going to have to go car seat shopping soon. Any recommendations? Heidi looked at a Safety 1st brand convertible car seat that looked good and goes up to 80 lbs. Just what I want, a bigger car seat in the car. I have no room back there now.
I will try to post some picture later. We dont have any new ones though.
The neighbors have moved out. Well the people have. There is a garage full of junk and 2 cars still there. The back door has been wide open for a few days. The owner was there Sunday and didn't look real happy.
I promise all of this post is true. We aren't pulling any tricks like last year!

It's snowing here today too and like you, I am very tired of it!
I'm glad Marshall is growing and doing so well. Even though his car seat takes up more space, you want him to be safe, right?
I hope you get some really nice, new neighbors, Brian. It would be fun if they had a dog and you two could play together.
Great news all around. I love the playing/napping series. Marshall is a super sweetie.
I'd pay more attention to the car seat height limits, 'cause most of my 10 year olds aren't 80 pounds yet, but they've totally outgrown car seat height limits.
I think we went overboard on ours, since the manufacturer says you have to replace it after 5 years anyway.
Time to buy a minivan!
Britax, from what I understand, are some of the best. We have a good Alpha Omega Elite convertible seat. Josiah just graduated into a Graco high back booster, which is nice--no more harnesses. But Sarah is right about checking limits. And there are lots of sites online where carseats are rated.
I'm going to have to buy an infant seat because DARN, I left our infant seat and base in storage. I meant to pack it and it got into the storage load.
You would be aghast at the "car seat" you were in, Heidi! And in the covered wagon days, when I was a kid, there were no car seats. We roamed all over the car; had four passengers in the front seats at times. I'm glad safely is such a concern now.
