Olympic Peninsula

We just spent 3 amazing days on the Olympic Peninsula. It was great. We stayed in a cabin at a resort. There were only 6 other cabins. A few of them were right on the water. Ours was at the top of a hill. I did get to go swimming 3 times. It was amazing! My people didn't swim because it was fairly cold. One day the high was in the 60's. We took a day trip up to Hurricane Ridge. WOW!!! It was a great walk. I had to be in the car for most of it. There is a stupid rule that dogs can't go on trails in a National Park. Marshall did not want to sleep at all. He never took any naps. He surprised my people and climbed out of his pack-n-play. The ended up making him sleep in the closet. We had a fire every night. I had my first roasted marshmallow last night. Very good!! We hope to go back again. It was such a good vacation. We had a small world moment. My people were up on the trail at Hurricane Ridge and started talking to a small group of people. That night while I was swimming the same group of people came walking down the steps to the water!

Beautiful!

S'mores with Snickers bars? That sounds fantastic!

What a beautiful location! I'm so glad that you got to go. Remember, this was all new to Marshall, and like any kid, he was too excited to take naps.

Was that dock part of the resort? I loved the shelter at the end of it. Also, seeing the mama deer with her fawn had to be fun!
