Aunt Liz by Heidi
My Great Aunt Liz passed away today. She was Great in so many ways. She had an amazing fire about her. She was always honest and funny. She was kind and generous. Her home was always open. I don't know if I ever heard her say no. I remember her from a very young age. I spent almost every New Years Eve at her house till I was 10. I remember going to her house for St Patrick's day parties. I remember so many holidays at her house. I can not look at Snoopy or Woodstock and not think of her. If I ever need to laugh I just think of the time her and 7 other people came out here to visit and all stayed here in my house. We were walking from the Market to the Ferry and Pat was pushing Liz in her walker. The walker tipped over and Pat fell on top of Liz. No one was hurt, there was so much laughter! I have countless fond memories of you Liz. I love you and will miss you greatly.

Matthew 5:4 (The Message)
4"You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
Thank you for posting a great memory of Aunt Liz. I think that story is one we all talk about very often.
I know that we will all have great fun stories to tell in the upcoming days and weeks.
She was a "one of a kind" woman!
