I do not want to complain.. but people keep talking about the weather. Usually Summer here is dry and warm. Sometimes hot during the day but cool at night. My people spend the long evenings outside. Not this year. We are stuck in spring. It has been wet and cold. Wet wet wet. So that 78 minutes. That is the total time this year we have been 80*. The 10 day forecast doesn't put up much over 70, maybe 75. The weather is hard on the growing season. Heidi has strawberries, tomatoes and cucumbers.. so far.. not much fruit.
We finally had the backyard landscaped. ( 7 years later for those keeping track) We went with seed instead of sod. We are hopeful it grows. We will get some pictures this weekend. Right not it just looks like dirt! We have to stay off it for 3 weeks. (sucks)
So anyone want to cool off.. Come visit!!!!

Brian, you wouldn't like it here at Grandma's. It's going to be 100 degrees today. You'd need lots of water and you'd be panting!!

I'll take some of that weather. We're going out of our minds with the heat here...can't go outside to play because it's 102 and so humid. I consider it cool when it dips below 95 and then we hit the pool!
