Last night I took a ride to the store. I was getting out of the car and saw a toy on the ground. I stopped to get it. The car door closed and I screamed. (Yes, dogs can scream.) Part of my tail was cut off by the door. Just the tip, about 1/8 in. Chad took me to the 24 hour vet. They kept me overnight and I had to have surgery. They took off a little more of my tail so they could pull the skin enough to close it up. I get my stitches out in 2 weeks. I have to try not to wag my tail. Anyone who knows me knows this is not easy. I am on some good drugs today and resting.

Dear Brian, I feel so bad for you and I hope this two week period passes quickly and that your tail will look just as handsome as always. You take it easy, okay?
Yikes! Sorry to hear about this Heidi. It was traumatic for human and canine alike. Keep that tail still Brian!
