we would never have asked for this. Our neighbors that can not keep a clean yard had a tragic weekend. The father of the house (Ben) with six kids was at a bar this weekend. He used to be a bouncer there, but was just a patron Saturday night. A man who had been kicked out of the bar stormed in and started shooting. He shot Ben in the head. Ben held on until this morning.
We were not close to them.. they were not the best neighbors.. They were not bad people though. My heart goes out to the kid and wife. We haven't seen anyone at the house since it happened. We will give them something, I just don't know what yet.

Wow, Heidi... my heart goes out to them as well. I cannot even begin to imagine. Were others hurt as well?
Unbelievable! Almost makes a person afraid to leave their house! I guess the best thing to do is pray for the family. I'll put them on my list!
